LEITEK INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS , founded in 2016 and based at the DNA Cascais (European Space Agency Business Incubator Center) in Portugal, has been part of the defense technology and industrial ecosystem (IDD Portugal Defense) since 2017 and is part of the AED (Aeronautics, Space & Defense) Cluster Portugal. The company is dedicated to innovation and technological development, manufacturing, marketing, and implementation of turnkey solutions in various technology areas, with emphasis on electro-optical detection systems, thermal imaging, AI-powered image processing, and IoT, applied to early fire detection systems in general and forest fires and forest video surveillance in particular.

Other areas of technological activity are those linked to unmanned aircraft (UAS) solutions and data post-processing in the area of remote sensing of data captured by drones (UAS) linked to aerial surveying.

In all areas of activity, we make extensive use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, both in the systems we market and in systems that are products of our own development (e.g., Dronesavior® and SafeForest® systems).
