DRONESAVIOR

Dronesavior® is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system designed primarily for rapid rescue of shipwrecked people and assistance to swimmers in danger of drowning . This lifesaving drone can quickly transport a self-inflating float that, by remote control, is dropped with surgical precision near the person or persons in difficulty or danger of drowning at sea, or in a dangerous area of the coast or beach, until other rescue resources, including a lifeguard, arrive.

Dronesavior has a digital communications system consisting of an onboard megaphone and a PTT (Push-to-Talk) intercom on land, allowing remote instructions to the castaway or anyone swimming toward the danger zone. The system can operate day or night. At night, the payload, consisting of a thermal camera and another operating in the visible spectrum, should always be used.

Response time in rescue operations is critical, and can mean the difference between life and death. Typically, the system is installed on beaches or at a nearby observation post. It can also be transported in vehicles and used in coastal operations where necessary.

Operating the system does not require an operator with a certified drone course. However, its operation does require an operator with a drone operation course, who must be familiar with the regulations, general standards, and safety requirements for drone operation ("Fly Safely"), as well as training with the system in beach areas. Dronesavior operation on beaches must be authorized by the Captaincy (National Maritime Authority) with jurisdiction over the beach and comply with any restrictions issued by the National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC). Unless specifically authorized by ANAC or a protocol with that authority, the drone must always be operated in VLOS and no closer than 500 meters from the operator. Without authorization, its altitude cannot exceed 120 meters. On some beaches, this maximum altitude is much lower, as they are within Airport/Airfield Operational Protection Zones, or other situations provided for in ANAC Regulation No. 1083/2016 on drone operation.

Additionally, the Dronesavior system can be used for a wide range of missions of interest to Civil Protection or the National Maritime Authority, including: monitoring and observation of points of interest; rapid transport of objects or devices to people in distress in hard-to-reach or remote locations (e.g., a defibrillator); locating people in search and rescue operations; forest surveillance; monitoring fires in urban or rural areas; and other missions of interest to civil protection. The system is capable of recording photos or video in UHD (4K) format.
